What has long been a best kept secret, Fort Mill is fast becoming one of Charlotte’s most popular suburbs. Known for low taxes, good schools and friendly residents who embody the meaning of southern hospitality. When you come to view The Bramble's Southern Living Inspired Home you will need to take a few hours or a day plus to enjoy all the town has to offer.



What To Do While in Fort Mill


Within a few minutes of the Southern Living Inspired Home you can go to Market Street - the main drag in Baxter Village, a large urban planned community that is nestled around The Bramble. There you can shop at boutiques such as Page 6 and Katyloo. You can feed your sweet tooth cravings at Cupcrazed Cakery (winner of Food Networks cupcake wars) or Chocolat Boutique. About five minutes down the road you can go to Main Street Fort Mill, a must see for a true historic small town Main Street. There you can get home goods and gifts from Main & Gray Home, Aesthetic Addiction, and Crossing on Main. In the mood to hunt for antiques and bargains then you will need to talk a stroll through Market on Main and Art, Funk and Junk. Please make sure to check store hours for all shops.


After all the browsing and shopping you could find yourself in need of nourishment and maybe a libation. Both Market Street and Main Street have you covered. You can enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner at many diverse restaurants. A few of the popular “hot spots” include Fish Market Bar and Grill, Akahana Asian Bistro Bar & Sushi, Local Dish Restaurant, The Flipside Cafe*,The Improper Pig(featured on “Diners, Drive Ins and Dives”, Amor Artis Brewing, Grapevine Wine Bar & Wine Shop. If you are going to be in Fort Mill for more than a day or for the weekend or if you are searching for family friendly activities you MUST make Anne Spring Close Greenway a destination on your trip. You can go hiking, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, or kayaking all in one location. The Greenway also has many year round events, and even goat yoga!
